.....

Hello everyone, hope your all ok and having a nice week (not sure there is such a thing unless its holiday- but ohwell!) This post is taking me ages to complete, cos I have a sore back, I do swimming for P.E at school and think I've pulled a muscle or something, and it hurts the more I hunch forward over this computer- so I keep having to stop every so often and sit right up and back to straighten my stupid back, lol !

This week the Colour Create Challenge sounded good - 'Pink Sorbet,Lemon and Chocolate' so I decided since this is probably my most favourite colour combo, I had to do it!
I just didnt know what to do.. then I spotted my little canvas I bought and painted at the weekend, and realised I didnt really like what I had done with it.. so I decided to 'Reduce,Re-use&Recyle' and I got scissors and cut all the material off the frame to leave me with a lovely little photo frame.. so I decided that should be what I used.. and I painted it white then started to decorate it until I came up with this..

and my image close-up.....

Recipe:
Image: Daisy, Coloured with Watercolours, I drew the letters to spell Kim and the little flower is just some wee stamp from my stash!
Embellishments: The brown and yellow flowers are punched using my Grannys flower punch, the cream ribbon down the side is from my stash and it has a nice sparkly pin shoved in the bow and last but not CERTAINLY not least - my most favourite embellishment in the world = PEARLS!!! and they are Kanban.
Frame: Well as I have said above, I painted the frame white then just went round the inside bit with some 'Worn Lipstick' Distress Inks and stamped all my images and my name and stuff onto white card and stuck it on the back.. and VOILA! there we have my frame :)!

I hope you like it.. 'cos I do =D ..
I would love to hear your comments if you have a spare second or two :)

Good afternoon everyone !
Hope you are all well..
and yes I am back: twice in one day!!! how have I managed it?!

But I was blog hopping this morning and found this amazing sketch from Crafts For Eternity and I absolutley loved it! So I decided that was it.. I was doing it. Then I don't know what happened but I thought I was doing the Just Magnolia challenge so changed my image from a Sugar Nellie to a Magnolia.. then I coloured it all and stuck it down and finished off the card then I realised that this sketch was for the other challenge and not the Just Magnolia one. So I have started a new card with their fabulous sketch...but back to this one.

Good morning everyone!
Im on rather early this morning.. couldn't sleep much last night 'cos I kept thinking about posting this card! I really wanted to take part in the crafty monkeys challenge this week and couldnt wait for a new one to be posted.. though when it came up- it was 'One for the men' and i can't stand making cards for boys or men.. all my ideas are mostly pink focused!
But I was determined to give it a go.. So I started blog hopping for inspiration and found that the Simon Says Challenge and this week their challenge was 'One for the men' too! Wait for it.. So I continued hopping along on my travels and found that Friday Sketchers had a lovely sketch that would fit well with my card for their challenge this week.. and none of these blogs say you can't combine their challenges with others so I think I have myself a 3 challenge combo!
I would like this card to be entered into:
1. Friday Sketchers - Sketch.
2. Crafty Monkeys - One for the boys/men.
3. Simon Says - One for the boys/men.

Here it is..

Hello Everyone..
I really really liked the look of the Sugar Bowl sketch this week, which is a sketch by Marlene; with a 'Please Include' of buttons, so I thought I would give it a go. Now its quite late and my mums camera doesn't work very well at night, especially when she does nothing but use it all day.. by the end of the night I think it gets quite tired. So my pictures are a bit dark, and my buttons look red.. but really they are dark pink.

So here it is..

and my image close-up..

Card Recipe:
Image: ' Gorjuss Sitting'coloured with distress inks, then white gel pen on some bits for a shadow. Distress ink colours:
Tattered Rose for Skin
Worn Lipstick for Dress
Frayed Burlap for Hair
Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed for Tights
and
Mustard Seed for little flower in her hair.
Papers: Pink cloudy stuff from my stash (well my Grannys!) for the very back bit
Empress Cream from the Porcelain pack for the next bit
Some pink and yellow bazzil CS from my stash for mounting
Yellow CS from my stash ran through the bug with 'Swiss Dots' for the strip down the middle
and
'Bumble bee daydream' CS (doodlebug) for the 3 little strips at the bottom.
Embellishments: The flowers and buttons used are from my stash (well Grannys!).

I hope you like it, Please leave comments if you have enough time.
